The town of Eger is situated at the foot of the Bukk Mountains, can be reached in 90 minutes by car on highway M3 from Budapest. The town is famous for its medicinal waters and the historical wine region.

The four-storey thermal hotel was renovated in 1999. The rooms have been restyled.
Hunguest Hotel Flora offers 184 rooms: 124 double rooms, 48 single rooms, 8 family rooms (with bathroom and shower) and 4 suites. There are 66 rooms for non smokers and 40 rooms have extra bed facility.
All rooms have direct dial telephone, colour TV and minibar. Single rooms have shower and a toilet, whereas double rooms have balcony, bathroom and separate toilet.
Dining:
The air-conditioned restaurant (300 persons) offers local, international specialities and a wide selection of delicious, diet-conscious dishes. Live music.
On the top of the restaurant the guests will find a roof terrace, where a Turkish Café operates upon request.
There is a drink bar for 40 persons, too.

Budapest, lying on both banks of the Danube, is a city which offers many historical and cultural sights.
The two banks of the Danube from Margaret Island to Gellert Hill, the Buda Castle Quarter, the Andrássy út and its historical environment are all the part of the World Heritage.
Some of the outstanding buildings are the Opera House, the Ballet Institute, and the Music Academy. Under the street there is the Millenium Underground Railway, which was the first on the continent. Andrássy út leads to Heroes’ Square. The statues of outstanding Hungarian rulers and leaders stand in the semicircular colonnade. On the two sides of the square there are the Museum of Fine Arts and the Art Gallery.
